Dr. Tanna Jackson
Dr. Tanna C. Jackson earned her B.A. in Mass Communication from the Bennett College for women, in Greensboro North Carolina, and her M.Ed. (Master of Education) in Educational Leadership from Trinity Washington University. She earned a Doctorate of Education Administration with a concentration in Special-Education policy from Delaware State University.
Dr. Jackson has taught students in various populations including students with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities. After being in the classroom for eight years Dr. Jackson took on an administrative role in special education and has been serving in that capacity for the last thirteen years. Dr. Jackson also serves as an adjunct professor teaching graduate level education courses. With twenty years in special education Dr. Jackson knew that she needed to use her gift in a way that would support families of children with disabilities with that assertion she became the founder and CEO of Reagan ‘s Voice a nonprofit organization that supports families of children with disabilities on how to effectively advocate through education. Dr. Jackson is passionate about special education and the opportunity to empower parents to become partners in their children(s) educational journey. She understands the significance of properly providing services for children with special needs, she understands what it’s like to sit on both sides of the table as a parent of a child with special need and as a special education administrator. Dr. Jackson is an active member of Zion Church. Her motto “Inside of every struggling student lives a successful one”. She enjoys spending time with her family, her and her husband Anthony have three daughters Raina, Riley, Reagan and two fur babies.
